The museum of Replot
The museum reflects a typical archipelago home. Useful objects, furniture and clothes. Particularly characteristic of Replot is the painted commoner furniture, often with touches of green. Alongside fishing, which was a main occupation on the island, sheep farming was an important part of the archipelago's livelihood, both for the sake of the meat and the wool. The sheep grazed outside on the islets in the summer and were taken home again in September or October. Before the autumn slaughter, the sheep were sheared and the wool preserved.
